SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST

OVERVIEW
I supported a wide range of client projects through digital strategy, content creation, and creative production. I collaborated with the creative and copywriting teams to develop social media best practices, strengthen brand identity, and build cohesive storytelling across platforms. I also captured and edited content during client photoshoots and contributed to asset development for use in campaigns and final deliverables. In addition, I worked closely on personal branding strategies for NIL athletes by creating content calendars, brainstorming concepts, editing short-form videos, and refining captions, audio choices, and hashtag strategies. I also contributed to the agency’s “Star at OU” recruitment campaign as a featured model, helping elevate OU’s brand identity. Also, I supported Matchmaking.com by assisting in the development of the social creative direction for an upcoming campaign.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developed and executed social media strategies for client accounts, ensuring content aligned with brand messaging and creative goals.
• Built customized content calendars for NIL athletes, including TikTok concepts, edits, captions, audio selection, and hashtag strategies.
• Captured and edited content during client photoshoots to support campaign needs. 
• Produced 20+ short-form videos and photos for Orange Umbrella’s social channels as part of the agency’s rebrand and ongoing content pipeline.
• Collaborated with creative, editorial, and strategy teams to maintain consistent brand identity and deliver cohesive digital content.

FEATURED WORK
IMPACT 
My work at Orange Umbrella strengthened client social strategies, improved campaign performance, and supported the agency overall. I helped several clients achieve major growth, including 250K+ views, higher engagement rates, and new PR and brand partnership opportunities. For client-facing projects, I contributed strategic insights, editing support, and social media best practices that elevated content quality and improved audience interaction. My involvement in photoshoots and asset development ensured clients received polished, on-brand deliverables that supported their marketing objectives. 
Across the agency, the 20+ videos I edited helped maintain a consistent visual identity during Orange Umbrella’s rebrand and contributed to a more robust and strategic content pipeline. My work also improved collaboration across creative, copywriting, and strategy teams by supporting planning and production needs.​​​​​​​
