CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
Clear The Shelters is NBCUniversal Local’s annual nationwide pet-adoption initiative that partners with shelters and rescues across the United States to drive awareness, increase adoptions, and raise funds for animal welfare. Since launching in 2015, the campaign has helped more than 1.2 million pets find forever homes and has generated millions of dollars in donations. The initiative combines on-air coverage, digital storytelling, community events, and station-level activations to support shelters and connect animals with families.

MY ROLE IN THE 2025 CAMPAIGN
• Helped contribute to 3.5 million+ total digital views across Clear The Shelters social content during the 2025 campaign period.
• Coordinated communication, updates, and content needs for 100+ participating shelters nationwide.
• Supported the first bilingual Clear The Shelters campaign, helping expand accessibility and reach across both English and Spanish audiences.
• Produced and supported creator-led videos that boosted visibility, including content with Dolores Catania, Gabby Catania, and the high-performing Leah Kateb x CTS post.
• Captured on-site footage at major campaign events, including the Clear The Shelters Softball Game at Maimonides Park, contributing to digital storytelling used by NBC and Telemundo Owned Stations.
• Improved campaign navigation and content organization by creating the 2025 Takeovers Instagram Highlight, centralizing creator activations and shelter spotlights.
• Provided feedback on Clear The Shelters social content, helping refine messaging, pacing, visual choices, and overall execution to enhance clarity, emotional impact, and audience engagement.
